Consultant for Food Hub Analysis at Los Angeles Food Policy Council
The Los Angeles Food Policy Council Food Hub Study aims to Investigate and adapt proven food hub models by conducting a comprehensive analysis of existing food hub models and approaches to identify best practices and lessons learned which can be applied and implemented in Los Angeles. Additionally, the food hub study aims to prioritize community engagement and infrastructure mapping as part of this process. Stakeholder engagement is a core aspect of the study with data collection and gathering being conducted in the form of workshops, surveys, and focus groups to ensure the food hub meets community needs while mapping infrastructure and resources pertinent to Los Angeles. Finally, the study will leverage existing networks for collaborative Insights which are community-centered and relevant. The Los Angeles Food Policy Council will utilize a well-established network of local organizations, including growers, food recovery groups, and small retailers to gather diverse perspectives and data throughout this process.
