Postdoctoral Scholar in Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness at Louisiana State University

Dr. Qingxiao Li is looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher for a project on U.S. food prices.

This position is a two-year, full-time, non-tenure-track appointment from August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2027. The researcher will contribute to data management, empirical analysis, manuscript development, and student mentoring, with opportunities to present at major conferences. The position includes a competitive salary and benefits package. A Ph.D. in Applied/Agricultural Economics, Economics, or a related field is required by July 2025.

Preferred qualifications include experience with retailer and household scanner data, strong applied econometric skills, proficiency in R, Python, and/or SQL, familiarity with Administrative Data Research Facility (ADRF), knowledge of index number theory, and experience with high-performance computing environments.
